Laura Klein-Danilov

Laura Klein-Danilov has been a student of the Williamson Technique since 1998 and has been teaching it since June of 2002 serving as a faculty member at the Actors Movement Studio in NYC, as well as a guest teacher at NYU and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Her intensive training in the technique included study with Loyd Williamson, a privilege that few others can boast, especially since Mr. Williamson is now retired from teaching. She has developed her own singing method incorporating elements of physical technique that she teaches to a select group of private students, and has conducted several workshops for Funny Women Festival. As an actor, Laura studies Meisner Technique with Nina Murano and has previously trained with Terry Schreiber at the TS Studio and has a BA in acting from UCLA. She recently studied with Terrence Mann at the inaugural session of his theatrical academy for which she was hand picked by Mr. Mann for a full scholarship. She has acted, sung, improvised and written throughout her 8 yrs. in NYC, including her smash hit Cabaret “C is for Cabaret”. Laura hopes to inspire her students to greater creativity and freedom through their body and voice.
